  • You may be able to fill prescriptions at various pharmacies. It’s best to choose a specialty pharmacy that is experienced with fertility medications.

    For patients with a fertility pharmacy lifetime benefit, it is recommended that you get your medications from a preferred pharmacy as identified by your plan.

    For patients without fertility pharmacy benefits, Optum Specialty Pharmacy has partnered with various discount programs to offer competitive pricing for fertility medications. These discounts also apply to patients who have fully utilized their fertility pharmacy benefits and require additional medications to continue their treatment.

  • Once you visit your fertility clinic and a treatment plan has been set, your doctor will send your prescription to Optum Specialty Pharmacy. 

    A member of our team will reach out to you once we receive your prescription. We will review with your pharmacy benefit coverage and discount programs and set a delivery date for your medication(s).
